Scope of application of polyethylene wax

Polyethylene wax is low molecular weight polyethylene. It is characterized by high moderating point (above 100℃), close to high molecular weight polyethylene, while the melt viscosity and hardness are close to paraffin wax, as a lubricant, it is chemically stable and has good electrical properties. Polyethylene wax and polyethylene, polypropylene, polyvinyl wax acid vinyl, ethylene propylene rubber, butyl rubber solubility is good, can improve the flow of polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS and polymethyl methacrylate, polycarbonate mold release. For PVC and other external lubricants, polyethylene wax has a stronger internal lubricating effect. In addition, polyethylene wax can also be used in inks, paper, concentrate masterbatch, biodegradable masterbatch, mulch film and candles, etc. It can also be used in paints and hot melt adhesives, binders, etc.

Scope of application of polyethylene wax:

1、Because of its very excellent external lubrication and strong internal lubrication, good compatibility with polyethylene, polypropylene and other resins, polyethylene wax can be used as its lubricant in extrusion, calendering and injection processing, which can improve the processing efficiency, prevent and overcome the adhesion of film, pipe and sheet, improve the smoothness and gloss of finished products and improve the appearance of finished products.

2、Polyethylene wax is used as dispersing agent of thick color masterbatch of many kinds of thermoplastic resins and lubricating dispersing agent of filling masterbatch and degradation masterbatch. It can improve the processing performance, surface gloss, lubrication and thermal stability of HDPE, PP and PVC.

3、Polyethylene wax is used as a lubricant for cable insulation materials, which can enhance the diffusion of filler, improve the extrusion molding rate, increase the flow of the mold, and facilitate the release of the mold.

4、As a rubber processing aid. It can enhance the diffusion of the filler, improve the extrusion molding rate, increase the flow of the mold, and facilitate the release of the mold.

5、Polyethylene wax has good light resistance and chemical properties, and can be used as pigment carrier. It can improve the abrasion resistance of paint and ink, improve the dispersion of pigment and filler, prevent pigment from sinking, and can be used as the leveling agent of paint and ink.

6、It can be used as softener and lubricant of natural or synthetic fiber. Improve abrasion resistance, tear strength, anti-wrinkle power and sewability of non-iron clothes, reduce needle cutting and adjust the degree of touch.

7、Polyethylene wax can be added to various paraffin waxes to improve its performance . Excellent electric insulator performance, add into insulating oil, paraffin wax or microcrystalline paraffin wax to moderate the temperature rise, viscosity and insulating properties. Can be used for cable insulation, capacitor and transformer winding moisture-proof coating.
